
It begins to plant seeds of expectation for every school student to have access to their school's resources from an ICT device whether they are at home or at school. Most importantly, the message is coming directly from every family's own TV straight into their living rooms. Furthermore, this message is from a well known brand and as such will be received differently to any from a government agency. However, it does beg a question for society and governments, regarding equity. Perhaps this , together with new products following the lead given by the I-Pad and I-Phone, marks the beginning of a sea change.
